Les subventions sont accord\u00e9es uniquement pour des causes ophtalmologiques.<\/h3>\n

\u00a0Les demandes doivent \u00eatre soumises par \u00e9crit et sont examin\u00e9es deux fois par ann\u00e9e. Les dates limites de soumission sont le 1er avril et le 1er octobre.<\/p>\n

Nous n’accordons des subventions qu’aux donataires reconnus<\/a> en vertu de la Loi de l’imp\u00f4t sur le revenu du Canada, sous r\u00e9serve de restrictions de financement.<\/p>\n

Nos principes de don sont conformes aux souhaits de notre bienfaitrice d’origine, Barbara Whitley. La Fondation cherche \u00e0 donner aux organisations engag\u00e9es dans la bonne gouvernance, la gestion efficace des ressources et la conduite \u00e9thique. Elle veut honorer la confiance du public par la transparence et la responsabilisation.<\/p>\n

Nous pr\u00e9f\u00e9rons soutenir des organismes de bienfaisance enregistr\u00e9s bien \u00e9tablis. Notre Fondation financera des initiatives et des projets jusqu’\u00e0 concurrence de 50 000 $. Nous croyons que le financement collaboratif accro\u00eet l’impact et l’efficacit\u00e9, c’est pourquoi nous envisageons des subventions de contrepartie.<\/p>\n

En tant que fondation, nous mesurons l’impact de nos subventions par un examen p\u00e9riodique des diff\u00e9rents projets et initiatives que nous finan\u00e7ons. Selon le type de subvention accord\u00e9e, nous \u00e9valuons les r\u00e9sultats \u00e0 court et \u00e0 long terme. Chaque ann\u00e9e, notre conseil d’administration \u00e9value l’efficacit\u00e9 et l\u2019impact de nos subventions sur la vie des personnes ayant une d\u00e9ficience visuelle.<\/p>\n
